Empowering Portland’s Nonprofits

It’s no secret that we love technology.

We love speeds, feeds, and nerding out over the latest and greatest gaming rigs. But, most of all, we love technology because it’s a means for a positive impact. Technology is a vessel for progress.

We strongly believe that the right technology can propel an organization toward their mission. So, in 2018, we started our Technology Grant Program, designed to equip local nonprofits with the IT boost they need to reach their goals.

Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with organizations who do all sorts of wonderful work in our community — from providing food access, to arts and education, to teaching inclusion and fostering belonging.

At our annual Open House last month, we heard from 2023 grant recipient, Rose City Rollers, about how profoundly their recent network upgrade has improved their operations and fan experience — both during games, and during business hours. And, we shared an update on this year’s grant.

That’s right — our 2024 Technology Grant application is officially open! Any Portland-area 501(c)(3) organization with fewer than 30 employees is invited to apply. Because we’re experts in fully-managed IT support, if you’ve got a technology problem, we can find the solution — whether that’s with helpdesk resources, advice on moving to the cloud, or designing and rolling out a big project.

These organizations show up and support our community, day after day, and we’re both humbled and proud to be able to support them, too.

So, if you are or know of a local nonprofit whose IT could use a little TLC, we’ve love to meet them. Apply directly through our 2024 Technology Grant Application, or swing by a Community Happy Hour sometime for an intro.
