Spreading the Word:
Portland Internetworks is Presenting!
Many of our customers and colleagues know us for great technical execution or for the solid technical advice we can provide to help achieve business objectives. But, we are frequently and increasingly called upon to help educate our community and industry on non-technical topics as well!
Last month, Doug was the keynote speaker for the Portland Opera’s annual Corporate Partner event and shared his experiences working with non-profit organizations and the role small businesses should play in supporting arts and service organizations. In August, he shared with Portland State University business students the importance of developing leadership skills to drive future business and career successes.
Our team recently presented on topics of Superstar Recruiting, Service Delivery, and Sales Transformation for an industry gathering of IT CEOs in Florida, and this week will share our thoughts in Seattle on How Managed IT Providers Can Avoid Commoditization alongside noted industry guru Gary Pica.
Beginning in October, we will ramp up our educational events series beginning with a discussion of “Technology Security Updates for 2018: New Threats and New Tools” and present a Celebration of Women in Technology in November. We also have a slew of new Lunch & Learn workshops throughout the fall and winter seasons.
We hope that you’ll take advantage of our educational events, attend some of our presentations, or let us know if there’s knowledge that we can share with your team or community group! We believe that to share is to learn and to learn is to teach!
