We’re More Than Portland Internetworks
This month, we’re showcasing the wide reach that Portland Internetworks touches outside of our home community. While we are absolutely committed to upholding our Portland and Pacific Northwest values, our team comes from all over the US and our footprint spans the continent and beyond.
Our Portland credentials are solid: Beards, plaid, fixed-gear bikes, fresh hop IPAs, and vegans? Yep, we’ve got them all. And our Pacific Northwest values are ironclad: An appreciation for the outdoors, giving back to the community, separate bins for recycling and compost plus a commitment to full transparency and honesty? We walk the talk!
But, many of our readers may not realize that we also serve companies and customers with locations and projects across the country and at international locales. In 2018 we will help a customer move their NYC office across town, deploy network gear at retail stores across the country, support networks 24/7/365 across the continent, and help our customers’ road warriors as they travel to customers across Europe and Asia. We’ve helped our customers open new offices all around the US and assisted our out-of-town customers open their first Portland shops here close to home.
In addition to impacting the operations and lives of our customers, we’re also influencing leaders in the Managed IT Services industry as our peers in the business learn from the successes and processes we’ve created over the years. Our team has presented on topics of recruiting, service delivery, and sales leadership in Florida, California, Seattle, and Illinois in just the last twelve months. And, in recognition, we recently brought home two prestigious awards from a national industry conference in Fort Lauderdale.
We are members of the Cisco Small and Medium Business Advisory Board, climbed to #190 on the 2018 MSP Mentor 501 World Rankings list and, in a fun diversion, a number of us were featured wearing our logoed business attire in the nationally-distributed Lands End Business Outfitters catalog.
Certainly, our team was created and grows in Portland, but for the month of October, we are happy to celebrate our larger sphere of impact and influence beyond our regional borders.
