Major Update:

Microsoft announced that January 14 of 2020 will be the cutoff for support on their Windows 7 software. This means that Windows 7 is now officially one year away from going end of life.

What this means for current Windows 7 users:

One year from now, Windows will stop creating updates and security fixes leaving current users vulnerable. Our team wants Windows 7 users to know, upgrading your operating system (OS) doesn’t have to be difficult. If you are a current MSP client using Windows 7, don’t worry, your dedicated client account manager (CAM) will be reaching out to start a conversation about upgrading. For anyone that lies outside the scope of an MSP client that wants to open a dialog about upgrading your OS, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Upcoming Windows 10 Event:

Portland Internetworks will be hosting an in-depth Windows 10 event in March. This event will provide current Windows 7 users a chance to learn in a hands-on environment, about the Windows 10 OS with our Technical Trainer, Andy Zirkle. We will provide hardware for guests to test out and have staff on sight to answer questions.

More information on the Windows 10 event will be available soon.
